Iris Manderfield

Iris has been with the clinic since the very beginning.  She first met Dr. Bakken as a patient and was convinced to leave retirement and help him get the clinic running. 

Iris is generally the first person you meet as you walk in the door.  She will help you get checked in and answer any questions you may have prior to your appointment. 

Melora Nelmark, C.A., L.M.T

Melora Nelmark graduated from Carthage College in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training.  She has an Associate Degree in the Physical Therapy Assistant program from Gateway Technical College in 2005.  Melora has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002, graduating from the Wisconsin Institute of Natural Wellness.

Melora assists Dr. Bakken with initial exams, applies many different treatment modalities, and directs patient stretching and excercise routines.  She can provide injury specific strength and flexibility rehabilitation training.  She specializes in deep tissue therapy massage.  One hour massage appointments can be made which are specific to individual diagnosis.

Vannessa Tellez, C.A., L.M.T.

Vaness Tellez is a Chiropractic Assistant and a Licensed Massage Therapist.  A 2005 graduate from Florida Career College, she works with Dr. Bakken as his assistant when she is not busy attending classes in the nursing program at Parkside.

Vanessa works at our front desk along with assisting Dr. Bakken with many different treatment modalities, including: ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, interferential current, ice massage, hot & cold packs, and traction.
