We’d love to hear from you, please give us a call at 608-782-7738.

Do you take health insurance?

We do not accept health insurance. If you have health insurance with out of network coverage, we will provide a superbill on request. The superbill has all the information needed for you to file claims with your health insurance in order for them to reimburse you per the terms of your plan.

***Exception: Medicare. We are a participating (in network) provider in traditional Medicare. Medicare covers chiropractic manipulation but will not cover any exam fees or other therapies provided. We do not accept Medicare Advantage plans.

Do you take personal injury (aka, car accident) or workers compensation insurance?

Yes. It is your responsibility to bring claim numbers and any contact names and numbers we need to confirm where to send claims. If you have an attorney and a delay in payment is expected while your case is processed, it is your responsibility to keep us updated on the progress of the case and make sure we get paid when the case settles. In either case, if insurance does not provide payment, you will be responsible for payment in full.

How much will treatment cost?

A new patient visit is ~$200, this includes the new patient exam and any treatment that you receive on your first visit. Following your new patient appointment, costs vary with type of care recommended. Average appointments are $72, but as treatments are tailored to the individual, they can range between $54 and $98, depending on time and treatment recommended. At your request, we will provide a written estimate of the costs associated with your individualized treatment plan.

How long should I plan to be there?

We schedule our new patient visits for 1 hour. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for paperwork if you have not completed the online questionaire. Following your new patient appointment Dr. Bakken will recommend 15 or 30 minutes for your appointment depending on his findings and treatment plan. Maintenance or supportive care appointments are typically 15 minutes.

Will I need to keep coming back forever?

Absolutely not! Our goal is to design a treatment plan that helps you heal and teaches you how to prevent further injury. We do not have a “typical” plan, once weekly for 4 weeks may work great for one patient while another may require a more intensive start at twice weekly for 2 weeks, then decrease to once weekly for 4 weeks. Treatment is always patient and injury specific. We do not sign you up for any long term plans, and we will not ask you to commit to a maintenance program by collecting money ahead of time.
